Chloe’s mum asked me to shoot for her 1st birthday celebration held at the Aloha Loyang Resorts. A little break for me from the usual weddings. Shooting kids’ a real challenge. Physically more for me. Either I’m getting old or just a big hint that I need exercise inserted to my schedule. But getting their natural expressions is just priceless for parents.

We wandered around the beach before the party started and took some shots of the family. It was a nice clear day. The evening sun was just nice for the warm family.

Khairul & Syahirah – Day 2

As promised, here are some of their day 2 photos. The lunch was held on a nice Sunday afternoon at the Orchid Country Club. We started out the day from Syahirah’s place which had her bedroom delicately decorated. Took some photos at her place before we set off to OCC.

This outfit is just perfect for them.

Sweet as ever!

Orchid Country Club offers some great “green” locations around it’s vicinity for photoshoots. I just can’t resist going round taking advantage of it.

The 2 days with them has been a wonderful time for us. Thanks you two! I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful life together ahead of you!

Khairul & Syahirah – The preview

I was blessed.. Really blessed for being picked by them to be their wedding photographer. Their wedding was my first for 2010 and it was an incredible one.

Khairul & Syahirah held their 2 days wedding event at Lagun Sari for the 1st day and at the Orchid Country Club for the 2nd day. It was a great pleasure shooting their beautiful day that was packed with lots of fun and happiness. On top of that, if I ever have a Best Smile Contest for my brides, Syahirah would have bagged the trophy! Her beaming smile got me and my 2nd shooter, Kumar, trigger happy for the 2 days! We just can’t stop shooting that marvelous smile of hers!

One of my perks as a photographer is to see the bride without going thru the tasks that the groom have to go thru. :p
In their case, Khairul got to pass thru 3 gates! But he pulled them off cooly. In fact, he sang at one of the blockades.

I like this pic taken while we were going to get them change another outfit after the lunch. They’re just amazing together!

Syahirah changed to a white gown after the black. She’s just angelic here isn’t she?

Syahirah’s sisters and cousins put up a dance performance for them.

And they joined a little.

End of the day, they were tired. All of us were… but they still looked good.. Before I end this post, here’s a pic from their 2nd day at the OCC.

Last day at the Mega Wedding Exhibition Jan 2010

Today will be the last day of the Mega Wedding Exhibition at the Singapore Expo. We’ve been there since Thursday at Hall 4 Booth N5 and it has been wonderful time.

Many thanks to those couples who have signed up with our new packages. We have a date and we can’t wait to shoot your weddings!
To those who are still deciding, we’ll be around til 10pm today. So hurry fix your dates with us before it gets taken!

Paul & Maryantie

Hi people! Hope nobody missed us now.. :p We had a number of beautiful weddings covered but haven’t been able to load them up. It has been a peak season and we’ve been shooting around with no time to spare much.

We covered Paul & Maryantie’s wonderful wedding few months back but it’s still fresh in our minds how we enjoyed the shoot. Paul & Maryantie is a nice, friendly and sporting beautiful pair that really made our job really effortless! They tied the knot and held their wedding dinner at the luxurious Holiday Inn Hotel which made the whole event a perfect one. Paul & Maryantie, thanks so much for letting us the honor of capturing your perfect day.

Maryantie got the dresses for her big day herself. I must say she really knows how to bring the best out of her for that day. It’s not too complicated stuff, just sweeeet!

Paul’s a really charming guy I tell you. Wish I had some bit of that charm. :p

Hey there beautiful!

The solemnisation was done in an event hall at the top floor of the hotel. Check out the view from the window. Solemnisation up in heaven!

A wedding event usually comes packed with emotions that could tear one easily. I do sometimes, after watching such joyful moments as above. :p

I did some exploration and found that the rooftop’s a great place for some photoshoot. So after the solemnisation ended, we spent some time enjoying the clear blue skies on that day.

Hello gorgeous!

The march-in of the enthronement (bersanding) ceremony was escorted by a nice group of Gamelan and Kuda Kepang dance.

They had their first dance.. It was just so romantic!

So where have we been since our last post? Here’s a list of what we’ve been doing ;

- Celebrated Hari Raya!
- Spending quality time with our families.
- Taking care of my little girl which got sick for the first time. She’s OK now. Active as ever!
- Shot the beautiful wedding of Paul & Maryantie.
- Catch up with sleep!
- And this week itself, we made a last minute decision to take part in the Weddings & Holidays exhibition at the Singapore Expo to meet up with couples and see our packages!

Raihana & Hasanal

I panicked initially seeing Hasanal. He has a serious look and thus I thought he was gonna be a “no-fun-serious-groom” type. I’ve always liked my couples to be on the fun side so the wedding would be a joyful and happy one. Not to mention that the photos would turn out great! I was proven wrong. Behind that serious look, Hasanal was such a caring and quirky fun guy. You’ll see them in the pictures.

Raihana, with her outfits and makeup by RH Bridal, was truly outstanding. She was easy in front of the camera and have such a beautiful smile. She had her cheerful girl friends and relatives around her during the 2 days adding more live to the occasion.

The solemnisation went smooooth with Raihana’s dad performing the “akad nikah”.

After the solemnisation, we had a trip to the Botanical Gardens for an outdoor shoot. We had a great time having fun in the park with great company of Raihana’s bridesmaids.

Hasanal’s quirkiness really made us laughed hard. Check out he doing a Forrest Gum pose.

The wedding ceremony on the next day was a fun one too. Raihana’s side was gorgeously decorated with a grande sized Dais!

The girls had matching clothes that day which was arranged by Raihana. Neat huh?

The live music was wonderful. I’ve seen the group at another wedding and really admire their performance. Very professionally concerted.

We headed back to Raihana’s place for the cake cutting and some more photos.

Sakka & Sham Dinner Reception – National Day

Our National Day couple for 2009 is a special mix of Japanese & Arabic. Very unique and interesting blend of cultures showing just how love knows no boundaries. We wish all the Happiness to our unique couple on this National Day.
